Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

As you may have noticed there is a new security company employed by Greer Ranch effective last night.  Over the past few months the Board of Directors have worked diligently to cut costs while maintaining customer service within the Community.  Minders Security Company was up for the challenge and has offered an excellent price for their services.  There may be a learning curve, so we ask for your patience and understanding while most guards are new to the Community.  For those that do not have a Transponder this may be a little more inconvenient as they will not recognize you just yet and you will be asked to supply your drivers license for verification.  However, we are assured that the guards will work hard to keep the gates moving smoothly.

Soon we will be changing from the Gatekey system to a system called Dwelling Live.  This system will have a quicker updating system from entry to the gate within minutes.  Therefore, there will not be a waiting period between your entry and the gates being notified a guest is coming in.  Please be on the look out for training & the informational pieces we will be emailing out.  Homeowners will be responsible to entering their own guests from their own home, work or cell phones.  This change will be happening within the next 2 weeks.

On Tuesday, January 29, 2013 between 10am - 12pm, the East Gate Visitor lane will be closed for repairs and between 12pm - 2pm, the West Gate will be closed for repairs.

Santa and Friends will be coming to Greer Ranch on Monday, December 10th. Santa will be accompanied by a holiday choir, Rudolph, and a jolly
elf. 

Santa will stop at the following locations within the Community:
- Everett’s Place Clubhouse – Greer Road
- Paper Bark Avenue – Between Bottle Brush Way and Elderberry Street   (Look for a “white star” on the pavement)
- Abelia Street / Chive Street – At the park

Holiday music and refreshments will be provided while waiting for Santa at the Clubhouse beginning at 6:00 pm. Children will be able to write letters to Santa and color pictures. Santa’s actual time of arrival is dependant upon previous stops in other neighborhoods. Santa will meet and greet all that come out to visit. Do not forget your cameras!

Canned food items and new, unwrapped toys will be collected at each stop for local families in need. Please feel free to bring these items to this holiday event to donate.

Do you know what to do with all that extra stuff in your closets? Donate it to the MOMS Club and we will sell it at our Annual Garage Sale and Bake Sale. All of the money raised will go to charity and you will receive a tax deductible receipt for your donation. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit local charities such as Boys & Girls Club, March of Dimes, Loma Linda Children’s Hospital, and other charitable organizations.

Please drop off donations on Friday, December 7th from 9am-Noon at Everett’s Place Clubhouse. Please, only items in decent, workable condition.

Last Saturday, October 27, 2012 the Greer Ranch Social Committee put together a fun-filled day for all of the residents of the Community. A big thank you to the Social Committee for all of their work and preparation to make this day enjoyable for you and your families! Also, thank you to all vendors who came and set up their displays along with candy for the Trunk-or-Treat. Miss Lana and her students' practice really paid off since they put on a great show. Congratulations to Kesha Lowe, who won Greer Ranch's 1st Annual Chili Cook-off. Winners of the Coloring Contest have been notified by email of their win - if they were not in attendance of the event. These winners can stop by the Clubhouse during normal business hours to claim their prize. Come to the Clubhouse to see all of the winning coloring pages. Great job to all who entered! This is to notify you that the Annual Membership Meeting and Election for Board of Directors will be held as follows:

Date:             Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Time:            Registration Opens at 8:00 pm / Registration Closes at 8:15 pm
                     Call to Order 8:20 pm (if quorum is established)

Location :     Greer Ranch Community, Everett's Place Clubhouse

The purpose of this Annual Membership Meeting is for Greer Ranch Community Association is to elect two (2) Members for two (2) positions on the Board of Directors each to serve a two (2) year term.

In order to assist you in your selection, please see a copy of the candidate statements as submitted by each candidate (see attachment below). Ballots received by the Inspector of Election are irrevocable. You are welcome to submit your ballot in person after meeting the Candidates.

Please complete and mail your ballot as explained in the Voting Procedures & Instructions (see attachment below). Quorum requirement for this meeting is 25% of the voting power of Greer Ranch. Postmark no later than November 9, 2012 to be received by election date. Homeowner record date to vote was set for October 12, 2012. If quorum is not met, a reconvened meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 6:00 pm in Everett's Place Clubhouse. Reduce quorum must be met with 15% of Membership ballots.
