At the April 14, 2015 meeting, the Greer Ranch Community Association Board of Directors enacted an emergency rule change voiding the prohibition of artificial turf in front yards during the drought. In subsequent meetings, the Board has approved a minimum weight of 60oz for front yard artificial turf, and has decided to be the approval authority for all front yard artificial turf installations. This means that a complete Improvement Application is still needed, but will be reviewed and approved/denied by the Board instead of the architect hired by the Association. There will not be the usual application fee for these applications. All other type of improvement applications will be forwarded to the architect; and, as such, will require the architect fee.
